College council meeting scheduled

Santa to visit Nikiski
The Nikiski Senior Citizens Center will host Santa Claus from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the center one mile off of the Kenai Spur Highway on Island Lake Road.
Cookies, hot dogs, photos and cookies decorating are some of the planned events. Photos cost $5. Drawings for door prizes also will be held. For more information, call 776-7654.
Mycological society to meet
The Kenai Peninsula Mycological Society will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Naptown Cafe in Sterling.
The video "Introduction to Mushrooms" by Dr. Michael Beug, professor of Mycology at University of Washington will be shown.

Breakfast with Santa offered
Santa will be available for photos and breakfast from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Naptowne Inn and Cafe in Sterling. Pancakes and punch will be available for $4. Families may bring a camera to take free photos with Santa.
A kids only shopping store will be open with gift items priced under $3. Volunteers wrappers will be on hand to help kids wrap items. Proceeds from kids store will benefit the Sterling Elementary School indoor/ outdoor recess fund. For more information, call Barb at 260-2005.
