Hakkinen takes 79th in individual

Kasilof biathlete Jay Hakkinen took 79th place in a World Cup 20-kilometer individual race on Thursday at Pokljuka, Slovenia. Hakkinen continued to struggle with his shooting at the race, missing eight out of his 20 shots. Each missed shot carries a one-minute penalty, and Hakkinen finished 10 minutes, 0.1 seconds behind the leader.
