FAIRBANKS (AP) -- The University of Alaska Fairbanks has named a new vice chancellor for administrative services.
Mark Neumayr will oversee UAF's budget, business operations, purchasing, personnel, risk management and environmental health and safety offices, plus fire and public safety departments and facilities services.
Neumayr has been with the university since 1982, working in a variety of positions in the general counsel's office, including senior associate general counsel.
Neumayr received degrees in business administration and law from the University of South Dakota. Prior to coming to the University of Alaska he was an attorney with a corporation dealing with banking, finance and real estate.
