ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A light earthquake rattled the Interior Saturday morning.
The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.3, according to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center in Fairbanks. The quake was centered 27 miles northeast of Paxson and was about three miles deep.
The quake occurred at 7:27 a.m. and was felt as far away as Fairbanks, but were no reports of injury or damage.
The earthquake information center said Saturday's temblor was an aftershock of the Nov. 3 quake, which had a magnitude of 7.9.
