Innes, Robertson wed in Colorado

Lisa Delena Innes and Justin Edward Robertson were married Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in an outdoor ceremony at the Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs, Colo. Pastor Brent Williams of West Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colo., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Sherry Innes of Kenai and the late Robert Innes. She wore a strapless, satin gown with beading on the bodice and hem. Her sheer veil was trimmed with satin edging. She carried a bouquet of periwinkle hydrangeas with white and peach roses.

Her uncle Jim Larsen escorted her down the aisle and gave her away, fulfilling a promise made long ago.

Mary Jackson, formerly of Anchorage, was the maid of honor. Shari Bass of Anchorage and Jennifer Smith of Kenai were the bridesmaids. The wore full-length dresses with periwinkle sheaths with spaghetti straps. The flower girl was Cassi Jones, stepdaughter of the bride's cousin, Michelle Jones of Colorado Springs.

The groom is the son of George and Debra Robertson of Lafayette, La.

Blake Robertson, brother of the groom, was the best man. Mike Sheridan and Joey Fontenot were the groomsmen. Alec Robertson of Carenco, La., nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Following the traditional exchange of rings and wedding vows, there was a reception at the Craftwood.

Colorado was chosen for the wedding so the bride's 90-year-old paternal grandmother and namesake, Della Innes of Colorado Springs, could attend. Other honored guests were Leonard and Julia Olivier, Justin's grandparents from Franklin, La., and Carol Larsen, the bride's aunt. Out-of-town guests included Sherry (Davis) Graves, formerly of Kenai, Kari Mohn of Kenai and sons Paul Hanson of Anchorage, and Duke and Sherril Hanson of Denver.

Additionally, approximately 80 longtime friends and relatives of the bride and groom traveled from Alaska and both coasts to attend.

Lisa is a graduate of Kenai Central High School and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Justin is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and works as an engineer for Kiewit Industrial in Southern California.

They couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They live in southern California.
