Conklin comes up big in Oilers' win
ANAHEIM, Calif. Raffi Torres scored the go-ahead goal with 5:29 remaining and Radek Dvorak had two assists in the Edmonton Oilers' 3-2 victory over Anaheim on Sunday night.
Cory Cross and Jason Chimera also scored and Anchorage's Ty Conklin made 28 saves 15 of them in the third period to help the Oilers win for only the second time in their last 11 games.
Anaheim's Petr Sykora scored the tying goal on a power play 34 seconds into the third period. Andy McDonald also scored for the Ducks and playoff MVP Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 26 saves after a three-game benching.
Blackhawks 1, Oilers 1 (OT)
CHICAGO Michael Leighton got the breaks he needed to help the Chicago Blackhawks tie the Dallas Stars.
Leighton made 31 saves and Dallas' Marty Turco stopped 29 shots in the 1-1 tie Sunday night.
''I want to eliminate the soft goals and make them work for their goals,'' Leighton said. ''If I do come up with a good save, it's a bonus.''
Steve Sullivan scored for Chicago in the first period, and Sergei Zubov tied it in the second with a short-handed goal.
The Blackhawks, 1-10-3-3 in their last 17 games, have 12 goals in their last seven contests. The Stars are 1-5-1 in their last seven, scoring just five goals during that span.
Canucks 2, Hurricanes 1 (OT)
VANCOUVER, British Columbia Markus Naslund scored with 47 seconds left in overtime to give the Vancouver Canucks a 2-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday night.
Naslund faked a move to the middle, then lifted a shot over goalie Jamie Storr's blocker. Todd Bertuzzi made a nice flip pass at the Carolina blue line to put Naslund in alone.
Vancouver's Trevor Linden tied it 3:17 into the third period, setting up the Canucks' fourth straight overtime game and 10th in their last 14 games.
Rookie Alex Auld, making his second straight surprise start, finished with 30 saves, including four in overtime, to help the Canucks wrap up a five-game home stand at 2-1-2-0.
Auld started in net after regular Canucks backup Johan Hedberg, who was scheduled to start, re-injured his left wrist during the morning skate.
