Cecelia 'Cece' Honea-Miller

Longtime Kenai resident Cecelia "Cece" Honea-Miller died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, of unexpected heart failure in Post Falls, Idaho. She was 32.

No memorial services will be held in Alaska. Her ashes will be buried next to her grandmother and uncle in Parris, Calif.

She was born July 20, 1972, in Riverside, Calif. She moved to Alaska with her family in 1979 and lived in Anchorage until 1983, when the family moved to Kenai. Ms. Honea-Miller attended school and lived in Kenai until 2001. She was attending school and living in Post Falls at the time of her death.

"Cece was loved dearly by all of the people that were a part of her life. Cece always had a big smile on her face and was always ready for a good laugh. She will be dearly missed," her family said.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Cindy Honea; brother, Roy McKenzie; sister-in-law, Debbie McKenzie; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
