Yearbooks are on sale. The cost is $30. Certificate of purchase are available to wrap up for Christmas. Order forms are available at the office.

Congratulations to CeCe Missik and Christina Grimsley for winning the Character Counts pizza drawing last week.

To break up the long winter, students will participate in annual club activities beginning Jan. 21. For six weeks on Fridays, students will attend a selected club activity from 1:44 to 2:27 p.m. Students will not miss out on regular core or exploratory classes as each class period will be shortened six minutes to allow for a 40 minute club period. This is an opportunity for staff members to get to know different students in the building while sharing their talents. Parents are encouraged to visit a class or spend time observing a club activity.

The staff would like to thank students, parents, guardians and staff members who participated in the canned food drive. The school collected more than 2,500 cans. This effort will contribute to the food baskets at Christmas.

Dates to remember:

Today - Chamber student of the month luncheon;

Friday - Assemble schedule and club sign up;

Monday - Christmas break begins;

Jan. 3 - Volleyball, wrestling and skiing begin; and

Jan. 7 - Club organization meeting; club fees due.
