Holiday nutrition classes wrap up
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Services six-week series of holiday nutrition classes will hold its final class from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. today at the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank. Colleen Deal will instruct. For more information, call 262-3111.
Industry alliance meeting slated
The Support Industry Alliance will meet at 11:45 a.m. today at Paradisos Restaurant in Kenai. Featured speakers are Bill Van Dyke, manager of lease administration royalties, and Will Nebesky, commercial analyst.

Food bank to hold board meeting
The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank will hold its board meeting at 4 p.m. today in the soup kitchen. The public is invited to attend.
Skyview winter concerts today
The Skyview High School bands and choirs will present their winter concert at 7 p.m. today at the Soldotna High School Auditorium.
DAV changes meeting location
The Disable American Veterans have changed their meeting locations. It will now meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion Post No. 20 in Kenai, instead of the old NAPA building. All veterans are encouraged to attend. For more information, call Glenn Schrader at 283-4359.

Skating recital to benefit food bank
The Soldotna Sports Center will present its annual Christmas skating recital from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the center. Admission is free with a food donation. All food collected will be donated to the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank. For more information, call 262-2253.
