Nikiski resident Vashti Modene Thompson died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage. She was 63.
The community is invited to attend a memorial service in her honor at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Lighthouse Community Church Nikiski. Daryell Lathem will officiate.
