Deprived From a Smile

Olivia Velazquez-Alarcon

the hunger to find Love,

the hunger to find a kiss,

the hunger to feel and relate,

the disgust of loneliness,

the disgust of depression,

the disgust of no hope and trust,

the desire to dream freely,

the desire to look lovely,

the desire to be happy,

the pain of nothing there,

the pain of metallic cries,

do this, do that,

make it to the top,

fullfill everybody's needs,

take charge of all there is to come,

or FAIL,

FAIL for everyone,

FAIL for everything,

to crack a smile,

it's cuts and tears you in equal half.
