Two armed robbers caught after Douglas holdup

JUNEAU (AP) -- Two armed men clad in ski masks allegedly broke into an apartment and stole money from a man and woman in Douglas, Juneau Police said Monday.

Joshua Allen Coon, 20, and Rorie Christopher Miller, 22, are charged with felony first-degree robbery, police said.

The two were arrested after 3:30 a.m. Sunday near a truck allegedly used in the robbery, police said. Inside the truck were ski masks, a shotgun and handgun and a substance police believe is drugs, said police spokesperson Capt. Tom Porter.

Miller was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital and treated for mild hypothermia and later released to police custody, police said. Both were then lodged in the Lemon Creek Correctional Center, police said.
