CIA Carolers deck hospital halls with music

For many years Becky Dwinnell, known affectionately as "Miss Becky" to her students at Cook Inlet Academy, has been bringing the kind of joy that only a young heart can deliver to those shut in for the holidays.

Each year after a month or so of classroom rehearsal with her pre-school, kindergarten, and 1st grade pupils, Miss Becky accompanied by almost as many parents, heads out with 30 some carolers to bring Christmas cheer to those in need of their special type of holiday joy.

Last week the troop made stops at Heritage Place, Soldotna Senior Center, Central Peninsula General Hospital, the Kenai Peninsula Borough, Beemuns Variety store, and Central Emergency Services. "The kids really get excited about singing out in the community and bringing smiles to those who may be a little lonely this time of year," said Becky.
