Clarion missed the boat on Pearl Harbor Day

Posted: Wednesday, December 17, 2003

I want to thank the Clarion for your in-depth coverage in your Dec. 7 Sunday paper.

It was great reading about how our peninsula priority lists dwindle as state financial assistance is unlikely next year. (Is there money?)

The judge OKs lethal wolf control program column was also an eye-opener. Also, the article (new idea) on providing bear resistant receptacles was very informative.

To end, your coverage on the bombing of Pearl Harbor (Dec. 7, 1941, just a reminder) was great. I will never forget what our fathers and grandfathers endured during World War II, and most of all, not forgetting the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the start of World War II.
