Collapse, and martial law, are coming

Posted: Friday, December 17, 2010

From the flack we in the militia have received, skeptics still cannot envision the collapse of our economy. The "normalcy bias" created by our long history of being well-fed and comfortable just will not allow such thinking, much less preparing for it.

But did you know that the Pentagon is currently playing out "war games" pertinent to an American economic meltdown? It's true. The U.S. Army has launched operation "Unified Quest 2011." The purpose: to study the "implications of large scale economic breakdown inside the United States that would force the Army to keep domestic order amid civil unrest."

The truth that many refuse to believe is that the United States is indeed not witnessing an upward economic recovery, as so many in our federal government have asserted. Soon, the U.S. dollar will cease to be the world's reserve currency. The U.S. dollar is not stable. China is attempting to back its own currency in gold, while we continue to print money backed by nothing at all. The central government continues its "quantitative easing" by pumping billions of printed Federal Reserve Notes into circulation. The money supply in October 2008 was $850 billion. Today it is nearing $2 trillion. The result is more money in circulation but with less value. Essential commodities will soon skyrocket in price. Unfortunately, workers' pay will not increase.

Doubters need to know that U.S. soldiers are being trained in evacuation and detainment as a response to rioting, revealing the possibility that the United States military may resort to martial law in order to maintain order.

FEMA camps are real. Also, that FEMA has established 15 regional facilities across the nation. The U.S. government and the U.S. military are preparing. Why aren't you?

We in Alaska are not immune since Juneau has ignored the coming crisis. Prices here will rise more rapidly and sharply than anywhere else because of transportation costs. Since federal law does not forbid the use of other items of value to purchase goods, Juneau should begin to mint gold and silver and copper coins for Alaskans to use as the Federal Reserve Notes become worthless. Our own state government has its eyes shut to what is coming. Wake up Mr. Governor!

All Alaskans need to take heed. Start preparing now if you have not already done so. Those who have need to continue.
