SEWARD (AP) -- Three people died over the weekend in a two-car accident on the Seward Highway, Alaska State Troopers said.
The accident occurred Saturday at mile 34.5 when a pickup driven by 76-year-old Jose Bravo of Kenai ran head first into a car driven by a Seward couple. The pickup burst into flames and Bravo died instantly.
Charles Karges, 71, who was in the car died at the scene. His wife, 59-year-old Beverly Karges, died after being transported to Providence Medical Center by helicopter.
