DETROIT -- Jocelyn Thibault stopped 28 shots, and Alexei Zhamnov and Mark Bell had goals as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-0 Monday night.

Thibault's second shutout this season and 23rd career helped Chicago extend its unbeaten streak at Joe Louis Arena to seven games (5-0-2).

The loss ended Detroit goalie Manny Legace's unbeaten streak at 19 games (17-0-2) and 355 days. Legace hadn't lost since a 5-3 loss to Minnesota on Dec. 27, 2000.

The shutout was the second in a row for the Red Wings, who have gone 125 minutes, 24 seconds without a goal.

Lightning 4, Canadiens 3

MONTREAL -- Martin St. Louis scored twice, including the go-ahead goal 52 seconds into the third period, to lead Tampa Bay past Montreal.

Vincent Lecavalier and Ben Clymer also scored for Tampa Bay, which won for the second time in three games to finish a five-game Canadian road trip 2-2-1.

Rangers 4, Panthers 2

NEW YORK -- Petr Nedved scored two goals, leading the New York Rangers over Florida.

Sharks 4, Stars 1

DALLAS -- Teemu Selanne scored twice as San Jose stretched its unbeaten streak to nine games.

Coyotes 4, Blue Jackets 1

PHOENIX -- Sergei Berezin's second-period goal was the game-winner, and Sean Burke stopped 24 shots as Phoenix snapped its six-game winless streak.

Teppo Numminen, Ladislav Nagy and Daymond Langkow also scored for the Coyotes, who ended a three-game losing streak.

David Vyborny scored for Columbus.
