Dragonfly Gallery hosts open house

The Dragonfly Gallery will hold a holiday open house from 3 to 5 p.m. today. Live music will be provided by Nelson Kempf and Keeley Boyle (The Old Believers). The gallery is at 165 S. Soldotna Ave. (behind Jersey Subs).

Bishop's Attic expands

Peninsula Bishop's Attic in the strip mall at 35326 Spur Highway in Soldotna has expanded its floor space.

Wisdom honored

Kenai Association of Realtors named Steve Wisdom of Wisdom and Associates its Affiliate of the Year on Dec. 8.

Aromatherapy classes offered

Central Peninsula Hospital is offering the first two courses leading to certification in clinical aromatherapy through the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy on Jan. 25 through 27 and Feb. 1 through 3.

Harwager returns to Oil and Gas Supply

Sean Harwager has returned to Oil and Gas Supply, a distributor of Eaton Aeroquip hydraulic and industrial hose, fittings, adapters and accessories.

Harwager has experience in hydraulic component repair, system troubleshooting and design.

In addition to his hydraulic technician duties, he will serve as operations manager of the Oil and Gas Supply facility at Mile 16.2 of the Kenai Spur Highway.

Alaska USA offers mobile access

Alaska USA Federal Credit Union offers account access via cellular phone or wireless data device with UltraBranch Mobile. The free service allows members to access a mobile-friendly version of UltraBranch with an Internet enabled cellular device. Members can check account balances and previous transactions, transfer between accounts, view credit card balances and pay bills all from their cell phone if they have Internet access. Members also can find current rates, the nearest ATM or a branch location.

Food bank donations sought

The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank is seeking donations to help stop hunger on the peninsula by donating funds directly to the food bank at a local bank and/or donating nonperishable food for the food barrels.

Financial institutions accepting donations through December are Alaska USA Federal Credit Union (Kenai and Soldotna), First National Bank Alaska (Kenai and Soldotna), KeyBank (Kenai and Soldotna) and Wells Fargo (Kenai and Soldotna).
