Corps of Engineers relocates
The Regulatory Program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District has relocated its Kenai field office to the Benco Building at 805 Frontage Road, Suite 200C, in Kenai.
The field office will continue to provide wetland delineations, jurisdictional determinations, preapplication coordination, permitting and enforcement services. The office serves an area from an eastern limit that is the confluence of the Moose and Kenai rivers, south to Reeder Avenue near Mile 116 of the Sterling Highway, west to Cook Inlet and north to Nikiski, including Kenai, Soldotna, Nikiski, Kasilof, Cohoe and parts of Sterling.

Alliance to meet
The Alliance- Kenai Chapter will meet at noon today at Paradisos Restaurant. Jack Hartz, senior reservoir manager of Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission will be the featured speaker. Alumni hoops event slated
The Kenai Central High School annual alumni basketball games will be held today through Thursday at the school.
The game schedules are as follows: Alumni boys from 6 to 8 p.m. today registration begins at 5 p.m.; girls alumni games from 6 to 7 p.m. and 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday registration begins at 4 p.m.; championships games will be girls at 6 p.m., boys at 7 p.m. and the "old-timers" game, or those 10 years or more out of high school, at 8 p.m. Thursday.
