ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Gov. Tony Knowles has ordered that state flags be lowered Friday in tribute to former state Rep. Alfred Charles Nakak, who died Tuesday.
Nakak, 53, died of natural causes at his home in St. Michael, according to Knowles' office.
Nakak represented Nome during from 1977 to 1978. Funeral services in St. Michael are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday.
