JUNEAU (AP) -- The state Division of Wildlife Conservation has completed its strategic plan and mailed it to advisory committees and organizations around Alaska.
The plan was developed over the past year and a half. It outlines strategies for managing big game, small game, non-game animals, fur-bearing creatures and even marine mammals.
Division director Wayne Regelin said the plan is flexible enough so it can be adapted as new information arrives and new department leaders take over.
The plan is available from Division of Wildlife Conservation Offices and is posted on the Internet.
