Houses get support

Posted: Thursday, December 22, 2005

The Kenai Convention and Visitors Bureau would like to thank the many people and organizations that helped with the Community Holiday Gingerbread Challenge, namely Allen and Petersen, Kluge and Associates, the Central Peninsula Youth Orchestra, Kenai Alternative High School, Chris Parker, Dawn Edward-Smith and Millisa Nills.

Congratulations to the gingerbread house champions — Constance Nicks and Samantha Cockrell. Constance created a traditional gingerbread house with “glass” windows. Samantha created a fabulous gingerbread replica of the Chapel of St. Nicholas.
