On behalf of the KPBSD’s Students in Transition/Homeless Program and the 25 families who received turkey boxes for Thanksgiving, I would like to extend our thankfulness and appreciation to the Alaska Bikers Advocating Training and Education (ABATE) members.
There was a lot of hard work and coordination that went into assembling the food boxes. A special thanks to Bud and his two assistants for delivering the boxes to the Borough Building.
With every family I met that day, I received an overwhelming “thank you for your generosity.” Thank you, ABATE, for lending a helping hand to those who may be experiencing difficult times.
You made a lot of kids have a very happy Thanksgiving.
