Blood bank sets holiday hours

The Blood Bank of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula Center will be open from 11 to 6 p.m. today, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday and closed Saturday. For more information or to schedule a donation, call 260-5672.

KPHC plans 1-day closure

The Kenai Public Health Center will be closed Friday in observance of Christmas. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday. For more information, call 335-3400.

Beekeepers meeting planned

A beekeepers meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 4 at Soldotna Middle School in the music room. Community members interested in establishing beekeeping organization are encouraged to attend. Fish and Game to meet

The Kenai-Soldotna Fish and Game advisory committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Kenai River Center. It will hold elections for one sportfishing guide seat, one personal-use and subsistence seat and five at-large seats. Community members interested in becoming active in fish and game matters and formulating regulations for the area are encouraged to attend. Diabetes support group to meet
