Boys and Girls Club gets boost

Agrium presents the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Kenai Peninsula a check for $10,000. The donation will underwrite the 2002 golf tournament, a fund-raiser for the club. The check was presented at the 2001 Economic Outlook Forum held at Kenai Peninsula College on Nov. 16. Pictured are Ken Mayer of Agrium, who presented the donation and is a current board member of the Boys and Girls Club. Accepting the check, center, were Tina Marie Herford, interim executive director and finance director at the club and Michelle Glaves, past president of the board of directors of the club.
