Tanner David Tice
Nikiski resident Tanner David Tice died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, from complications of diabetes at home. He was 5.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at The Salvation Army Church, Forest St., Kenai. Chaplain Craig Fanning will officiate.
Tanner was born March 19, 2001, in Soldotna.
He was a member of The Salvation Army Church in Kenai. He enjoyed playing cowboys and ninjas with his younger brother.
“Tanner touched many people and acquired many friends in his short life. Even though he will be sorely missed, we thank God for sharing one of his angels with us all. He made us smile everyday.” his family said.
Tanner was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Tice.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy Tice of Kenai; stepfather, Brian Todd of Nikiski; brothers, Damien and Layne; sisters Tiphany and Rebecca all of Kenai; grandparents, Norm and Frances Johnson of Port Aransas, Texas; aunts and uncles, Rob and Brenda Tice of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Ken and Lori Tice of Palmer, Schell Tice of Eagle River and Steve Tice of Port Aransas, Texas; cousins, Jesse and Ehrin Tice of Eagle River; and friend, Miss Kim of Kenai.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army Church, 204 N. Forest, Kenai, AK 99611.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
