Hanukkah party slated

MoAdim Messianic Fellowship invites all to a Hanukkah party at 6 tonight at the Kenai Merit Inn. The party will be in a new meeting room at the back of the building. It will feature fun, food, candle lighting and a game of dreidel. The event is on the eighth night of Hanukkah, and people are asked to bring a hanukkia and candles and some finger food to share. Sermon to focus on new year

Abundant Life Assembly of God Pastor Bob Reasner's sermon topic Sunday will be "Entering the New Year Meeting the Challenge of Embracing Your Destiny." The service in Sterling begins at 11 a.m.

New Year's Eve service planned

The new year will be welcomed by the Soldotna Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ in a Watch Night service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Communion, fellowship and foot-washing will be followed by a candlelight service at midnight.

Sterling church to conduct Watch Night service

A Watch Night service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday by Abundant Life Assembly of God in Sterling.

Winter Bible studies scheduled

The Women's Ministry of Kenai Christian Church announces its 2004 winter Bible studies, which start the week of Jan. 5-9:

n A group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays to study "What's So Amazing About Grace" by Philip Yancey.

n A group will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays to study "Precept Upon Precept: Romans IV," "Precept Upon Precept: Spiritual Gifts" and "Beloved Discipline," a Beth Moore study.

n A group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays to study Romans IV, Beth Moore's "Breaking Free" and "First Place: Life that Wins."

n A group will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays to study "Beloved Discipline."

Women's Aglow hosts Bible study

Clothes2Go open Wednesdays

The Inlet Faith formerly Aurora Heights Assembly of God Clothes2Go is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays to meet people's clothing needs.
