Lifelong Soldotna resident, David Andrew Leach, 20 died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 222 West Redoubt Ave. in Soldotna. Father John Holleman will officiate. A reception will immediately follow the services in the O'Neill Hall.
David was born July 21, 1984, to Daryl and Vicki Leach in Soldotna. He graduated from Skyview High School in 2003. David was attending his second year of classes at Kenai Peninsula College. He enjoyed sports, snow boarding, wrestling, baseball and cross country running.
He was a member of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
His family wrote: " David had a terrific love of knowledge, he never stopped trying to learn more of everything. David was our Calvin of Calvin and Hobbs."
He is survived by his parents, Daryl and Vicki Leach of Soldotna; sisters, Misti Leach of Miami, and Autumn and Tamara Leach, both of Soldotna; brothers, Ian Leach of Las Vegas, and Daryl, Dale and Liam Leach, all of Soldotna; brother and sister in-law, Mike and Jenny Leach of Corvallis, Ore.; uncles, Mike and David Carey and Randy Leach, all of Soldotna; aunt, Colleen Posey of Wortham, Texas; and numerous cousins.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapels.
