The Peninsula Grace Brethren Church would like to thank our community for its enthusiastic support of our Coats for the Community project.

We received a great response from individuals and groups that donated coats and other winter gear to individuals in need. A special thank you to Safeway of Soldotna, Carrs-Safeway in Kenai, Kenai Central High School and Soldotna High School for allowing us to put collection barrels on their premises.

Thank you also to Bishop’s Attic for providing gift cards to distribute to individuals unable to find unable to find what they needed from our inventory, and to Summit Dry Cleaners for offering to dry clean donated coats.

We look forward to continuing to word together for the benefit of our community.
