Raymond E. Cline
Former Kenai resident Raymond E. Cline died unexpectedly on Wednesday Dec. 15, 2004, in White Salmon, Wash. He was 42.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the chapel of Erdman Funeral Home in Goldendale, Wash., with pastor Jason Young of the Goldendale Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Cline was born on Sept. 19, 1962, in Spokane, Wash., to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cline. The family moved to Goldendale in 1975 and Mr. Cline graduated from Goldendale High School, where he excelled in basketball.
He received a degree in instrument technology from Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, Wash., and worked for British Petroleum in Alaska for many years.
Mr. Cline married Teresa Barthlow in 1984 and had four children a daughter, Brianne and three sons, Jaryd, Brandon and J.C., all of Goldendale.
The family lived in Kenai for nine years before moving back to Goldendale in 1991.
In September 2003, Mr. Cline married Roxann Jersey. They resided in High Prairie, Wash., until his death.
Mr. Cline enjoyed the outdoors and sports and loved to go camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Roxann; parents, Richard and Ulynne Cline of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; sister, Connie Dirk of Nine Mile Falls; stepdaughter, Jessica Jersey at home; grandfather, John Rouse of Spokane; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
