Candlelight service for unborn planned

Soldotna First Assembly of God will hold its annual candlelight for the unborn service Sunday at 6 p.m. This service is in conjunction with the week of Holy Innocents and in remembrance of Herod's order to kill children during the time of Christ. The service will be conducted with the participation of Kenai Peninsula Crisis Pregnancy Center. Music, testimony and an illustrated sermon from Pastor Jim Duncan, as well as an offering for the CPC will make this year's service special.

Service scheduled at AAJC

The Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ Church will hold a candlelight service Monday at 7 p.m. with special music, communion and a foot washing. Refreshments will be served. There will be no regular Sunday service this weekend, however, there will be Sunday school classes. For more information, call 262-5909 or 262-9693.

Special services slated

St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church in Kenai will hold a New Year's Eve party beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a welcoming of the New Year service at 11 p.m. For more information, call 283-6040.

Musical planned Christmas Eve

The First Baptist Church of Kenai presents "Celebrate Life, The Musical," by its teen-age members, at Soldotna First Baptist Church, 159 Binkley at 7 p.m. Jan. 13. For more information, call 283-7672.
