Wilderness First Aid -- How to handle outdoor emergencies, injuries and rescues in the back country. The class will run from 1 to 6 p.m. Jan. 11. The cost is $20.
Tarot Symbology -- Learn to use and understand the symbolism of tarot as a tool for personal growth and transformation. The class meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays from Feb. 6 to 27. The cost is $50.
Chinese Essence Qigong -- Learn the art of developing internal energy and directing it to balance and enhance natural healing resources in the body. The class meets from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 14 to Feb. 18. The cost is $60, plus a book.
Simple Cooking That Tastes Great -- Increase your energy and mental /clarity with a high vitality food that tastes as incredible as it looks. Save time and money and eat healthier, vibrant foods that will energize the soul. Also, learn the simplicity of menu planning. The class will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 15 to Feb. 19 at Homer High School. The cost is $25 per person or $35 for a parent and student pair.
Drop In Computer Class -- Learn what you want at your own pace. The Computer Guy will roam and help as necessary. Learn Windows, Microsoft World, Excel, Powerpoint and Frontpage, how to customize, advanced e-mail skills, Web page design and more. Ages 4 and up are welcome. The class meets from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Jan. 13 to March 11. Registration is $5, plus $2 per visit for ages 11 and under or $5 per visit for ages 12 and up.
