Food bank plans closure

Caregiver training set

There will be caregiver training for communicating with Alzheimer's patients from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the community hall in Cooper Landing. For more information, call 262-1280.

City council to meet

The Kenai City Council will convene as a board of adjustment at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center at 361 Senior Court. It is open to the public.

Soroptimist monthly meeting set

Soroptimist International of the Kenai Peninsula will holds its monthly business meeting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Soldotna. For more information, call 262-7480.

Fish board hearing slated
