Megan Best, Ryan Swanson to marry in July
Megan Best and Ryan Swanson
Megan Jo Best and Ryan Andrew Swanson, both of Kenai, plan to marry in July 2008 in Soldotna.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Julie Best of Kenai.
The future groom is the son of Shannon Swanson and the late Richard Swanson, formerly of Nikiski.
Best is a 2004 graduate of Nikiski High School and will graduate from the University of Alaska Anchorage in May with bachelor's degrees in business management and marketing. She is employed in the summer by Best Transit Mix in Soldotna.
Ryan also is a 2004 graduate of Nikiski High School. He is a 2005 graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute of Phoenix, with Honda and Yamaha certification, and a 2007 graduate of AVTEC with certification in diesel and heavy equipment mechanics. He currently is employed with United Rentals in Soldotna as a mechanic.
