Hospital board to meet today

CPGH Inc., the organization that runs Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna, will hold a special meeting of the board of directors at 8 a.m. today in the Iliamna room at the hospital. For a copy of the agenda, visit www.cpgh.org.

Interfaith devotion planned

An interfaith devotion, including inspirational music and selections from religious writings, will take place today at 7 p.m. at the Shuey home, Mile 10.7 of Kalifornsky Beach Road. Fund-raiser planned for family

A fund-raiser/moving sale to help with medical and relocation expenses for the Kevin and Kelli Sweatt family will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Soldotna on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, call Jane Gabler at 260-4882.

Social Security representatives to visit area

Representatives from the Social Security Administration will visit several Kenai Peninsula locations in January. Representatives will be at the Seward City Council chambers Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.; at Kenai City Hall Jan. 15 from noon until 4 p.m.; and at the Homer Senior Citizens Center on Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. For more information, call (800) 772-1213.
