Thanks to ACS for FCS World Series support

Posted: Friday, December 31, 2010

Frontier Community Services would like to thank ACS for their generous donation toward our World Series baseball event. The ACS Children's Fund is an employee-run charity designed to help Alaska organizations that provides services or assistance to children with developmental disabilities.

FCS hosts the annual World Series baseball event which gives both children and adults with developmental disabilities a chance to participate in the all American game of baseball and the opportunity to enjoy a sporting event that is not normally available to them. It provides a healthy, family centered, recreational event for people of all ages who experience a developmental disability.

FCS would like to extend an invitation to all members of the community to experience this awesome event. The 2011 games will be played in Kenai at the end of June with sponsorship from the City of Kenai and the Kenai Little League. Come on out and cheer for your favorite team!

The donation from ACS will provide T-shirts, team caps and medals for all athletes. We are thankful for the support of community businesses like ACS. We live in an awesome community that supports and encourages children with disabilities. Thank you ACS.
