Posted: Friday, December 31, 2010

On behalf of the Department of Health and Social Services, I would like to share my sincere appreciation for the hard work and continuing commitment of the health and wellness of Alaskans shown by the dedicated staff of Bridges Community Resource Network. Your services provided through the Tobacco Preventions and Control (Community Based Grants) successfully met grant project goals for grand number: 601-10-089. Your grant program was nominated by Alison Kulas from the Public Health meeting for meeting or exceeding the Department's expectations in demonstrating successful outcomes to Alaskans. This effort exemplifies the overall aim of the Department in helping individuals and families create safe and healthy communities.

We encourage you to share this recognition with fellow employees and other key individuals, agencies and organizations that support this program. Again, please accept my earnest gratitude for your enduring dedication to improving the welfare of Alaskans, We look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.

William H. Hogan; Commissioner, State of Alaska, Dept. of Health and Social Services
