The Peninsula Borough Assembly is having a hard time resolving the problem of an invocation at the beginning of their meetings. I respectfully propose that they offer a moment of silence and let that stand as the opening “invocation.” Everyone will be able to give thanks to their chosen Deity and ask for guidance during the upcoming meeting.
