On March 11 I had my first, and hopefully only, heart attack. I experienced first hand the professionalism of the paramedics at the Sterling Fire Station, Dr. Michelson and staff in the ER at Central Peninsula Hospital, medics and flight staff of Guardian Flight, ICU at Alaska Regional Hospital, and the cardiologists of Alaska Heart Institute.
I will now start Cardiac Rehab at CPH which I have always heard was great. Never thought I’d find out for myself.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such great medical services in our small community. I hope you never have to use them but please know if you do, you’ll be given the utmost care.
