I live near Homer and so does Paul Seaton. But we first met in the middle rip somewhere off Humpy Point. He was standing on his back deck in his underwear, soaking wet, having just cut a chunk of line out of his propeller. That was 45 years ago. I towed him in that day, but since then, he has bailed me out many times over, from Kenai to Ninilchik, from Kalgin Island to Chinitna Bay.
If you don’t know Paul, talk to those he has towed through rough seas and those whose livelihood has depended on his prompt, reliable service, whatever the weather. And if you are sick of endless special sessions, all ending dead in the water, keep a voice of reason in Juneau. Vote for Paul Seaton.
