Thanks to all for TritheKenai success
Just want to give a shout out to our community and all who raced on your wonderful support of the 2018 TriTheKenai Triathlon/Duathlon on June 10th. We had a new venue this year due to road construction that required extra effort to pull together and that would not have happened without our volunteers. Special thanks to those community members who selflessly volunteered their day to make it a successful race, as this event doesn’t happen without you! And because I don’t say thank you often enough to those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all come together year after year – extra special kudos to our event coordinators Gretchen Kraus, Lanie Hughes, Will Morrow, Lauri Lingafelt, Yvonne Oren, Carmen Stephl, Angie Brennan, Jordan Chilson and Tobin Brennan. Last, but certainly not least, thumbs up to our great sponsors Central Peninsula Hospital, Beemun’s, Tsalteshi Trail Association, Kenai Peninsula Tourism Marketing Council, CES, and Photography by Antonia. Thanks to all involved we were able to donate $1000 to our 2018 TriTheKenai local charity of choice, Soldotna’s Freedom House!
