Megan Neill of Soldotna was recently inducted into Harding University’s chapter of Alpha Chi Honor Society this semester. Neill, communication sciences and disorders major, was welcomed into the prestigious society in a ceremony Nov. 15 at the Searcy, Arkansas school. Alpha Chi is a nationally acclaimed honor society designed to commend academic excellence in universities across the nation. Harding’s chapter, called the Arkansas Eta chapter, is for the upper 10 percent of the junior and senior classes from all academic fields.
Steven Clayton Hallam of Kenai will graduate Dec. 12 with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
