Steinbeck named to President’s List at Gonzaga University
Allison Steinbeck of Kenai has earned placement on the President’s List for fall semester 2016 at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Students must earn a 3.85 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.
Knackstedt makes Pacific Lutheran Dean’s List
Kathryn Knackstedt has made the Dean’s List at Pacific Lutheran University for the Fall 2016 Semester. She is a 2014 graduate of Kenai Central High School, and the daughter of Henry and Lilly Knackstedt of Kenai. She is currently studying in Trinidad and Tobago.
Laurion graduates from St. Cloud
Kevin Laurion of Kenai has earned his Bachelor of Elective Studies in Biology from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, December 16, 2016.
Anderson earns Registered Architect certification
Devon Anderson of Kenai passed all examinations in 2016 for architectural licensure and is a Registered Architect in the State of Oregon. He attained LEED AP (Associate Professional in Building Design and Construction) and was promoted to Associate at GBD Architecture firm in Portland, Oregon.

The Community page is a way to highlight activities and events that happen with a photo. If your group or organization has a photo of an event to share, submit the photo and the following information for print: Who took the photo, who’s in it, when and where it was taken, a brief description of what’s happening, and a name and phone number in case we have questions.
