Peninsula students named to Bob Jones President’s List
Joanna Daniels, a Senior Graphic Design major of Ninilchik, Esther Knox, a Senior Accounting major of Ninilchik, and James Knox, a Sophomore Communication major of Ninilchik, were named to the Spring 2017 President’s List at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.
Barker earns medical degree from Kansas
Shelly Barker of Soldotna, is a candidate for a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. The university’s annual Commencement ceremony is today.

Events, wedding, engagement and birth submissions may not be older than six months. Wedding anniversary announcements are printed in five-year increments beginning with the 20th.
The Community page is a way to highlight activities and events that happen with a photo. If your group or organization has a photo of an event to share, submit the photo and the following information for print: Who took the photo, who’s in it, when and where it was taken, a brief description of what’s happening, and a name and phone number in case we have questions.
