Jones makes Honor List at Minnesota State Mankato
Connor Jones of Kenai, a sophomore majoring in Mathematics Teaching, has been named to the Honor List at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for the spring semester. To qualify for the Honor List, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.5-3.99 grade point average.
Ashwell named to Dean’s List at Delta State
William Ashwell of Kenai has been named to the Dean’s List at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must carry at least 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.5-3.79. Ashwell is a 2014 graduate of Kenai Central High School and is majoring in exercise science with a minor in nutrition. He is the son of Michael Ashwell and Carolann Barum of Kenai.

Events, wedding, engagement and birth submissions may not be older than six months. Wedding anniversary announcements are printed in five-year increments beginning with the 20th.

If your group or organization has a photo of an event to share, submit the photo and the following information for print: Who took the photo, who’s in it, when and where it was taken, a brief description of what’s happening, and a name and phone number in case we have questions.
