Food bank to host Christmas meal, Santa photos

The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank will this month host an opportunity for photos with Santa in addition to its annual Christmas meal.

Office Manager Claire Jones said Wednesday that photos with Santa will be held Thursday, Dec. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Fireweed Diner will be open for lunch and Santa will be ready for photos with children, families or even “well-behaved pets.”

On Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, the food bank’s Christmas meal will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., also in the Fireweed Diner. Everyone is welcome and there’s no need to reserve a spot. Call 907-416-7619 with questions.
