Haralsons celebrate 70th anniversary

Don and Lue Haralson celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2017.

A June wedding saw this couple married in their home state of Oklahoma following the end of WWII. Don was called back to duty prior to the Korean conflict and made a career out of the military, serving in WWII, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam war. Their military service sent them abroad to several locations in Europe and Asia, and in the U.S. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, they returned to Oklahoma for a few years. They moved to Alaska in 2001 to be closer to their three grandchildren.
