Fruit offers a great source of antioxidants, which may help prevent cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease and macular degeneration. The berry family — blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and cranberries — are good sources of antioxidants. Cherries, oranges, and prunes are also good sources.
