An Alaska herb garden
With spring approaching and our green thumbs itching to try something new, the University of Alaska Cooperative Extension Service has a publication for the culinary herb enthusiast! “An Alaska Herb Garden” highlights cultivating, varieties, germination, pests, and even recipes. For a mere $15.00 this herb lovers publication will provide many hours of reading and ideas for adding more herbs to your garden and diet. Available at your local Extension office or online at: http://www.uaf.edu/ces/pubs/catalog/search/index.xml.
This new publication should assist growers with trying something new for the growing season that is fast approaching. We also have hard copies in our office located at 43961 Kalifornsky Beach Road, Suite A, Soldotna, AK 99669. Call us at 262-5824. We are “Learning for Life.”
