As winter recedes into spring it is a great time to look at our yards and plan for the future. The badly damaged trees that need to be replaced, the pruning that needs to be done, the perfect spot for the new shrubs, can all be planned for now. Cooperative Extension Service has free publications available on “Transplanting Trees Successfully, Tree Health and Fertilization” and much more. With trees we plant for the future, but need to plan for it now.
